Framework Upgrades: Cleaner Charts, Smarter Defaults, Full FAQ + Timeframe Guide
What’s New in the Black Tie Report Framework Pro
The Black Tie Report Framework Pro just got a powerful new round of updates.
Whether you’ve been using it since day one or just started your free trial, this release is about making your charts cleaner, your logic easier to follow, and your decisions faster and more confident.
This post recaps everything we rolled out — and how to take full advantage of it starting today.
⚙️ 1. New “Open” Levels — Daily, Weekly, Monthly
Until now, the Framework drew previous highs/lows and current projection candles — but something was missing:
Open levels.
We’ve now added optional levels for:
Today’s Open
This Week’s Open
This Month’s Open
These are powerful reference points, especially for traders who:
Track volume-weighted directional shifts
Look for closes above/below the daily open for directional bias
Use opens as confirmation for breakout continuations or failures
You can toggle each one independently under the new “Open Levels” section in the settings.
🧠 Pro Tip: Combine these opens with session timing (London/NY) and the existing HTF bias to detect early momentum flips.
🏷️ 2. Clearer Labels for Highs, Lows, and Opens
To make the framework easier to read in real time, we cleaned up all level names across the board.
Here’s what you’ll now see:
Highs and lows use this format:
Prev D High – Value
Prev W Low – Value
Open levels use this format:
Today’s Open – Value
Week’s Open – Value
Month’s Open – Value
This means no more guessing which line is which. Everything is labeled precisely — and follows the same logic across all assets and timeframes.
🎨 3. Per-Line Color Control
Traders love customization — and now each High, Low, and Open line has its own color setting.
Want to highlight daily highs in red, weekly opens in blue, and monthly lows in gray?
Now you can.
Inside the settings panel, every line has its own per-line color picker, so you can match the Framework to your chart theme — dark or light, minimal or vibrant.
This also makes screenshots cleaner and backtesting easier to read.
🔠 4. Unified Label Font-Size Control
All label text is now governed by a single dropdown:
Tiny
Small
Normal
Large
This controls both Key Levels and the new Open Levels section, so your chart stays consistent and readable — even on high-resolution monitors.
🧼 5. Cleaner Default View (Structure Overlays Off)
The Framework was always known for its advanced logic. But sometimes, it was too much at once — especially for first-time users.
So now, when you first load the Framework:
✅ HTF Bias Boxes are still visible (bullish/bearish with breakdown/breakout labels)
✅ Key levels and open levels are active
❌ Structure overlays (BOS/CHoCH) are off by default
This gives you a minimalist view that still includes everything you need to make decisions — without noise.
If you want to see the structure shifts or CHoCH markers, just toggle them back on.
📚 6. Brand New FAQ Channel (Public)
We also launched a complete FAQ section, available inside Discord for all users (free and pro).
This section answers the most common questions we’ve received — and helps you get the most out of every feature.
✅ Topics include:
What the Framework actually is — and what it’s not
When and why Trade Boxes appear
How the logic works behind the scenes
Which setups to avoid (weekends, inside bars, etc.)
How to use it on any timeframe (and what to change)
How to combine HTF bias, session timing, and impulse for better trades
And much more…
This is now your go-to space to solve doubts, improve your edge, and start using the Framework like a pro — even if you’re new to TradingView.
📘 7. New “Settings by Timeframe” Guide
Finally, we released one of the most requested upgrades of all:
A full Timeframe Settings Guide.
This is a no-fluff cheat sheet that tells you exactly how to configure the Framework based on the chart you use — including:
✅ HTF Projections and Bias
✅ Impulse Multiplier settings
✅ R:R Target presets
✅ Liquidity bar sensitivity
✅ Session filters
✅ And what not to do
It currently covers:
5m (scalping setups)
15m (default)
1H (for slower day trades)
4H (swing entries)
1D (HTF confirmation logic)
It works across crypto, FX, indices, and stocks.
🧠 Pro Tip: This guide is not just for beginners. Even experienced users use it to stress test their settings or optimize for asset-specific behavior (e.g., more wicks in gold vs smoother trends in BTC).
